Free Permit Renewal Reminder

For your convenience, The Concealed Carry Institute offers a free Renewal Reminder Service to holders of Concealed Handgun Permits.

Virginia’s Concealed Handgun Permit is issued for five year terms. Unlike the Division of Motor Vehicles reminding you that your drivers’ license or vehicle registration is about to expire, your circuit court will not send you a renewal notice, and once expired, a person must apply as a new applicant rather than as a renewal.

To register and insure that your privilege to carry concealed remains in effect and without interruption, simply complete the form below. Ninety days prior to expiration, you will receive an e-mail reminder to renew. It’s that simple, it's no-strings-attached, and it's free!
